Assessment in the Arts 102 is a workshop for arts educators and teaching artists interested in supporting the power of arts education through high quality assessment.

Sponsored by the Illinois Arts Council and facilitated by master teaching artists, the workshop will:

• Underscore the value of assessment for student learning in the arts
• Focus on assessment strategies in the classroom and build an assessment plan connected to your goals
• Connect participants with colleagues for stimulating, in-depth conversations leading to the creation of truly relevant assessment tools.
• Develop assessment instruments to uncover a deeper understanding
